Sterling Silver base, Fine Silver wire, hot cloisonne enamel, rose cut Swiss blue Topaz stones, butterfly backs.

Description

Captivating Swiss blue Topaz stones take center stage in these sterling silver earrings, each held securely by a bezel setting. The rich blue and grey enamel background is achieved through a hot transparent enamelling process, revealing a subtle, hand-engraved pattern underneath that enhances its depth. Finished with sterling silver posts and butterfly safety backs, these earrings exemplify the artistry of enamelling – an age-old and demanding technique used to create their stunning stylized floral motif.

Process

The pattern is made on sterling silver base with thin fine silver wires which form the cloisons. Enamel powder mixed with water and lay on the silver basis into the made cloisonne cells. The item is put into the kiln, where the enamel melts at 800°C temperature.  3-4 layers are needed to achieve colour depth. Lastly, jewellery is polished until its surface gets a glossy brilliant look.
❗ Every design is hand crafted so if it needs to repeat one of them, each one will look a little different from the next because of the process. Each artworks I stamping with my personal jeweler mark. Fully handmade
