Materials

Sterling Silver base 925, 24K Gold wire, 24K Gold foil, Cloisonne enamel, 14K Gold beads, Garnet stones, latch back closure.

❗ Each natural stones is different and unique, so if it needs to repeat the design, stones can have a little differences from those which are on photos.

 Description

Earrings inlaid with 6 mm Garnet cabochons. Underneath the enamel layer is placed 24K Gold foil, which add richness and colourfulness to red enamel. Earrings covered with patina (silver blackening).  Latch back ear wire is comfortable to wear, has a safe lock and made from Sterling Silver.

Process

Earrings covered with hot transparent enamel. Enamelling is an art of decoration precious metal surfaces to create colourful and amazing designs. It's an ancient and laborious technique.

The pattern is made on a silver basis with thin Fine Silver wires which form the cloisons. Enamel powder mixed with water and lay on the silver basis into the made cloisonné  cells. The item is put into the kiln, where the enamel melts at 800°C temperature.  3-4 layers are needed to achieve colour depth. Lastly, jewellery is polished until its surface gets a glossy brilliant look.

❗ Every design is hand crafted so if it needs to repeat one of them, each one will look a little different from the next because of the process. Each artworks i stamping with my personal jeweler mark.
