Materials

Sterling silver base 925, fine silver wire, hot cloisonne enamel, lever backs, hand engraving. 

Description

The base underneath the enamel layer is engraved which shows deep and transparency of enamel. Lever back ear wire is comfortable to wear, has a safe lock and made from Sterling Silver. Earrings covered with hot transparent enamel. Enameling is an art of decoration metal surfaces to create colorful and amazing designs. It's a very old and laborious technique.

Process

The pattern is made on a silver basis with thin Fine Silver wires which form the cloisons. Enamel powder mixed with water and lay on the silver basis into the made cloisonne cells. The item is put into the kiln, where the enamel melts at 800C°C temperature.  3-4 layers are needed to achieve colour depth. Lastly, jewellery is polished until its surface gets a glossy brilliant look.

❗ Every design is hand crafted so if it needs to repeat one of them, each one will look a little different from the next because of the process. Each artworks i stamping with my personal jeweler mark.
